## The Six FM: local artists (0.16.0)

"Don't Act New" by Shortiie Raw. `drop-dont-act-new.ogg` / `.m4a` is the first 21 s of the artist's master (fade-out over
the last second, normalised to -16 LUFS). It is **not** Creative Commons: it plays in the game at the direction of the
artist's management, as a placeholder until the written grant (artist and producer) is on file, and may be removed at
any time. The Six FM radio at Pearl's plays other songs in YouTube's own embedded player from each uploader's video;
none of those files are hosted here.

"Killshit" by SAVV4X. `drop-killshit.ogg` / `.m4a` is 21 s of the track from 11.9 s (where the beat enters; 50 ms
fade-in, fade-out over the last second, normalised to -16 LUFS), taken from the artist's own YouTube upload
(https://youtu.be/edF7qEKlAok). **Not** Creative Commons: used as a placeholder with the artist's go-ahead, given
to the developer in person on 2026-09-26, until a written grant is on file; it may be removed at any time.

The full songs `l.ogg` / `l.m4a` ("Don't Act New", from the artist's master) and `m.ogg` / `m.m4a` ("Killshit", from the
artist's own upload) are also pickable in Settings (0.18.1), under the same terms: by permission, not Creative Commons,
normalised to -16 LUFS, with 50 ms fades at each end so the loop wraps silently.

## Changes made (CC BY 4.0 requires saying so)
Each file is an excerpt of the original recording, edited into a seamless loop: a whole number of bars
(a-e, g, j, k cut from the middle of the piece; f is the whole piece as its artist cut it, which its artist also
released as the loop "Departing At Dawn"; i is the artist's own loop used whole, with a 5 ms ramp at the
wrap), the next 0.75 s crossfaded over the head (not i), 0.5 s of
wrap-around audio added either side, a static gain to -16 LUFS (peak limiter at -2.5 dBFS where needed),
and re-encoded to Opus 96 kb/s and AAC 96 kb/s (e, f, g, i, j, k: AAC 128 kb/s; j: Opus 128 kb/s). Tool: `scripts/music/build-loops.py`.
Tempo measured by onset autocorrelation: `scripts/music/measure-bpm.py`.
